Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975)

  • Lucas Theatre 32 Abercorn Street Savannah, GA, 31401 United States (map)

To celebrate John Cleese and Eric Idle’s appearance at the Johnny Mercer Theatre on October 20th, the Lucas is proud to present two of Monty Python’s best films!

A comedic send-up of the grim circumstances of the Middle Ages as told through the story of King Arthur and framed by a modern-day murder investigation. When the mythical king of the Britons leads his knights on a quest for the Holy Grail, they face a wide array of horrors, including a persistent Black Knight, a three-headed giant, a cadre of shrubbery-challenged knights, the perilous Castle Anthrax, a killer rabbit, a house of virgins, and a handful of rude Frenchmen.

Rated PG. 91 minutes.

Don’t miss Happy Half Hour before each of our movies, where from 7-7:30 you can enjoy half price beer and popcorn specials. If that isn’t enough incentive to get here early, it’s also good to know that our movies start at the time listed with no previews!

Tickets are $9 general admission or $6 student/senior/military. This includes a $1 per ticket Historic Preservation Fee for all tickets purchased. The fee is for the ongoing preservation and maintenance of the Lucas Theatre. Also eligible for use with the Lucas Theatre Movie Pass. Available online or by calling 912-525-5050.
