Tonight’s show was meant to be the date that the PFS of SAV tipped their hat to the life and career of the one and only actor/director/photographer/playwright LEONARD NIMOY on the occasion of his 84th birthday.

However, his untimely passing just a few weeks back from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease has resulted in their Birthday Salute being transformed into a Memorial Tribute.

And so, tonight the PFS will screen a little-known role of Nimoy’s from his pre-STAR TREK days (years before he slipped into that blue velour tunic and tight black boots) as well as a Special Bonus: a collection of rare and candid clips of Nimoy from throughout the years.

What exactly will the Main Feature be?

Well, we’re not telling.

Let’s just say that it’s a memorable slice of provocative, old-school sci-fi…

Anyone who appreciated the humanity, humility and good-natured wisdom of this multitalented artist and philanthropist will likely appreciate the totality of the evening’s program.

Plus, the Bean will have special discounts on both Craft Beer and Organic Wine for anyone 21 and older, as well as their usual great selection of all sorts of award-winning vegetarian cuisine, pastries, desserts and Fair-Trade Coffees and Teas.
