The National Trust for Historic Preservation designates May of each year as “Preservation Month.” Historic Savannah Foundation (HSF) has embraced May by hosting an educational festival that demonstrates what makes Savannah unique. We are celebrating our 4th annual Savannah Preservation Festival on May 7th, 8th & 9th, 2015.

Event programing includes the 2015 Preservation Awards Ceremony, an Opening Lecture and Reception which is free and open to the public; a tour of past Preservation Award winning projects in the Savannah area, and concludes with our first-ever neighborhood wide “Block Party” in the historic Thomas Square Streetcar District. The Block Party could be the single largest event during the festival and will take place in and around one of HSF’s Revolving Fund centerpieces–the Lincoln Street Initiative.
