TICKETS: $16 to $70

* Pre-concert talk by John Canarina, sponsored by the Savannah Friends of Music, will begin at 6:30pm for all concert ticketholders.

**Due to unfortunate circumstances beyond our control, Michael Hauber, who was scheduled to play the Brahms’ Piano Concerto No. 1 during our Season Finale on May 9 will be unable to be here. We hope to engage Mr. Hauber for another concert in the future.

We are extremely fortunate to have Alon Goldstein playing in Mr. Hauber’s place. Mr. Goldstein made his orchestral debut at the age of 18 with the Israel Philharmonic under the baton of Zubin Mehta.

In recent seasons Mr. Goldstein has performed with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Philadelphia Orchestra, the San Francisco, Baltimore, St. Louis, Houston, Vancouver, Kansas City and North Carolina Symphonies, the Rhode Island Philharmonic, and orchestras on tour in Paris, Russia, Romania, and Bulgaria. He is frequently on tour internationally, playing recitals and concerts all around the world and has become one of the most respected and sought-after pianists playing today.

We are indeed fortunate to have a pianist of his caliber and international reputation here in Savannah to play this epic piece.
