Jan. 27, at The Bean, the PFS unveils the insanely rare 1974 action drama “A Sunday in the Country,” starring Michael J. Pollard (“Bonnie and Clyde”) and Ernest Borgnine (“The Wild Bunch,” “Escape from New York”) in salute of what would have been Borgnine’s 99th birthday. It’s the phenomenally chilling (yet darkly humorous) tale of a no-nonsense farmer (Borgnine) who teaches some fugitive bank robbers a life lesson when they attempt to hide on his property. 8 p.m. showtime with $7 admission for mature viewers.
