Melanie Mirande is a long time Savannah Folk Music Society member who has performed at several First Fridays over the years, including the first one in 1996. She uses her powerful and angelic voice to great advantage and accompanies herself on her Collings acoustic guitar. The audience gets to not only hear unique interpretations of the song she sings, but also feels the message that the words convey.
Cynergy Judy & Bob Williams were two of the co-founders of the Savannah Folk Music Society and have been performing in and around Savannah for the past three decades in venues ranging from River Street night clubs to the Savannah Folk Music Festival, a Night In Old Savannah, the Savannah Scottish Games, the Savannah Irish Festival, the Forsyth Festival, the NOAA Ocean Film Festival, and other events. They have also contributed musical tracks to the GPTV series “The Coastal Naturalist,” and the World Wide Film Expedition’s info-documentary on the Okefenokee Swamp; “Trembling Waters.”
Judy and Bob Williams will also host.
