School may be out for summer, but spring semester is in full swing in 1980s Illyria, the side-splitting setting of William Shakespeare’s TWELFTH NIGHT. Duke Orsino, big man on campus, falls deeply in love with the grief-stricken sorority queen, Countess Olivia. Every romantic overture has gone down in flames, but luckily a handsome transfer named Cesario arrives who knows a thing or two about what women want to hear. It might have something to do with the dashing Cesario actually being a woman named Viola with a whole host of problems of love and loss of her own. Throw in a pair of drunk hooligans, a fool who knows how to rock, and a wet blanket with the brightest socks you’ve ever seen and you’ve got yourself zany mayhem fit for any 80s romcom. Get ready to rock out to some of the tunes of everybody’s favorite big haired decade in one of the funniest comedies ever written.
