The Kid (1921)

Journey through the era of silent film with "The Kid" (1921), Charlie Chaplin's first full-length feature masterpiece, where he served as director, producer and performer. Chaplin's famous character cares for an abandoned child but events put their relationship in jeopardy. This will be preceded by the short, "The Immigrant" (1917), where Chaplin, as an immigrant to America, gets into trouble as soon as he arrives.

Stay for a Q-and-A session with SCAD film and television faculty members after the screenings.

Admission is free for SCAD Card holders; $5 for seniors, students and military; and $8 for the general public.
