SSC is so excited to present VIOLET, the multi-award-winning musical that follows a scarred woman who embarks on a cross-country bus trip to be healed by a minister, discovering the true meaning of beauty along the way.
Violet stars Savannah Stage Company favorite McKenna Lyons as Violet in her first titular role in a musical. The show is also features Carson Schlem and Neely Detwiler, both last seen in
Billy, Goat, Gruff: The Musical and Tuck Everlasting. New comers Terrence Williams, Finn Repella, Julie Kessler Sukman, Elliot Szabo, and Kah'teah Bacon join Company Members
Geena Denton, last seen in 2016’s The Wizard of OZ, Gary Shelby, last seen as Herr Schultz in 2018’s Cabaret, Ashley Cook - voted Connect Savannah’s Best Local Actress in
2016 and 2017, Lexi Balaoing - voted Connect Savannah’s Best Local Vocalist of 2018 and 2019, and Best Local Actress of 2019 for her role as Sally Bowles in last summer’s Cabaret, and of course, founding member Wesley Pridgen - voted Connect
Savannah’s Best Local Actor in 2017, 2018, and 2019. Choreography is by Io Ermoli, a Savannah Arts Academy Senior with new Company Member Megan Wellman Blanton
serving as Music Director. Best Local Director [2017-2019], Jayme Tinti, is leading the production.
