NOTE: I don't believe in such a thing as "Trailer Trash," and generally don't use that terminology, as all kinds of awesome folks live in manufactured houses of all sizes and shapes. However, the truth is, these are trailers for trashy movies. So there ya go...
After 15 years of weekly screenings, the PFS of SAV has finally dug deep into its archive to compile 80 minutes of the most wild and amazing theatrical trailers from the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s!
These rare, 35mm movie trailers must be seen to be believed. They were initially made to advertise sleazy and ridiculous action, horror, sci-fi, crime and exploitation flicks in inner-city Grindhouses and Drive-In Theaters around the USA - and many of them have not been seen since.
Digitally transferred by devoted, private collectors and then hand-selected by the PFS for maximum oddity and silliness, this 80-minute collection will likely leave you laughing uproariously (when your jaw is not dropped in disbelief).
It's the closest you can get to taking a time machine back to one of the old, dirty Times Square movie theaters that stayed open 24-hours a day, screening the latest and greatest examples of sleazy low-budget filmmaking - as well as cheesy monster movies.
Doesn't that sound awesome?
Everyone is quiet and respectful during our Psychotronic Screenings, and they are some of the most unique and affordable ALL-AGES entertainment options for miles around.
If you've never been to a Psychotronic screening before, this one is the PERFECT introduction to what we do and why we do it.
We'll be raffling off cool prizes before the movie, so make sure to bring a few extra bucks for raffle tickets.
There will be a full, award-winning vegetarian dinner menu available, as well as Fair-Trade teas and coffees - plus discounts on Craft Beer and Organic Wine during the show, if you're old enough.
7:15 PM seating / 8 PM screening / $7 admission
