Our eleventh Season opens with a thrilling array of masterpieces. Bernstein’s effervescent Overture from Candidesets the mood for Gershwin’s landmark piano concerto, one of the first pieces to truly bring the sound of jazz into the concert hall. The evening closes with Mussorgsky’s towering Pictures at an Exhibition.
