For this one-night-only event, KNOCKED OUT LOADED CONCERTS has organized an incredibly diverse group of over 20 Savannah-area musicians and vocalists who will join forces to uniquely interpret two dozen songs by the five legendary rock and pop artists who made up the late-'80s and early '90s supergroup THE TRAVELING WILBURYS.

A large house band has been created just for this show, which will be joined by at least ten more special guests throughout the course of the night.

Together, they'll perform a handful of tracks from each of the Wilburys' two beloved albums, along with three additional songs by each of that band's iconic members: TOM PETTY, GEORGE HARRISON, ROY ORBISON, JEFF LYNNE (ELO) and BOB DYLAN.

The Wilburys themselves planned to mount a worldwide tour in 1989 where they would do just that (play tunes from their surprise hit album alongside fan favorites from each of their own solo careers), but the unexpected death of bandmate Roy Orbison forced them to abandon those plans.

Now, many of Savannah's top rock, Americana, blues, soul, R&B and country artists joyfully present an imagined version of what such a tour might have looked and sounded like!

The House Band includes singing guitarists CRAIG JOHANSEN (the Magic Rocks, the 8-Tracks, Hot Pink Interior, the Myth), MATT ECKSTINE (The Accomplices), RAY LUNDY (Bottles and Cans) and BEN KEISER, plus drummers JOSH SAFER (Bottles and Cans, GAM) and JIM REED (Superhorse, the Magic Rocks, City of Lindas, the Eric Culberson Band), along with bassists JON WILLIS (the Myth, Jon Lee & The Apparitions) and ERIC DUNN (the Train Wrecks, Velvet Caravan), keyboardist PHILLIP PRICE (An Albatross, The Sw!ms, COEDS) and saxophonist RON YATZEK (Bottles and Cans).

Special Guests (who are confirmed as of this announcement) include: vocalists TRAE GURLEY, AMY OCHOAn CECILIA TRAN ARANGO and LAIKEN LOVE, guitarists KEVIN F. ROSE and HARRY GOELLER, singing guitarists ANDERS THOMSEN, ERIC CULBERSON, STEVE BAUMGARDNER (aka BASIK LEE), JOSEPHINE JOHNSON, TIM THOMPSON, WILL DUNCAN, ERIC BRITT, RAY TOMASINO, MARKUS KUHLMANN, THOMAS CLAXTON, TONY BEASLEY and JASON BIBLE, bassist NATE SARACENO, singing bassist ERIC "BIG E" MOORE, drummer PAUL COOPER, violinist SUSANNA KENNEDY, plus more talented folks TBA.

This early show on the night before Thanksgiving is open to ALL-AGES, and is perfectly geared to allow Savannah natives who live elsewhere but may be home for the holiday to catch a ton of the area's favorite performers in one epic concert.

The entire event is being professionally recorded for a potential live CD release, so come be a part of local music history!
