March begins at 9:30am. Participants meet up at 9:00am at Savannah History Museum Parking Lot (303 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.) This event is FREE and open to the public.

On Sunday, October 9, Coastal Heritage Society will honor the soldiers that fought during the 1779 Battle of Savannah, one of the most significant conflicts in our city’s Revolutionary War history. The Battlefield Memorial March will lead guests through the footsteps of soldiers who fought on that historic day in 1779, in celebration of the 244th anniversary.

Brunch will be available following the ceremony.
