Two of The Book Lady’s favorite authors In Conversation: Patricia Lockwood & Zach Powers!

From the Dylan Thomas Prize and Thurber Prize-winner, plus Booker Prize-finalist and “formidably gifted writer” (The New York Times), a vertiginous novel about a woman’s descent into illness and insanity. Will There Ever Be Another You will be released from Riverhead Books in September, and The Book Lady is teaming up with E. Shaver Booksellers to co-host Lockwood’s latest Savannah debut.

Lockwood will be in conversation with Zach Powers, Executive & Artistic Director of The Writer’s Center, and author of the novel, First Cosmic Velocity, the short story collection, Gravity Changes, and the upcoming novel, The Migraine Diaries (February 2026 from JackLeg Press).
