On May 9,  perfectly timed for Mothers' Day, CinemaSavannah will bring you a non-festival premiere of Honeyjoon, the first feature film by a Persian-American director, Lilian Mehrel. Lilian will be our guest joining us for an in-person conversation about her film, making a Savannah stopover during a US tour promoting her film. Honeyjoon premiered at Tribeca and won the Tribeca AT&T Untold Stories award for $1million (largest production prize in US history), multiple Audience Awards and Best Feature awards. It also made #1 on Vogue's standout films.
