Join us November 9th as we celebrate our Veterans with the screening of the film, “Restrepo,” at Service Brewing Co! This award winning film documents the deployment of a platoon of U.S. soldiers in the Korengal Valley of Afghanistan. The film focuses on a remote 15-man outpost, “Restrepo” which was considered one of the most dangerous postings in the U.S. Military. Directors Sebastian Junger and Tim Hetherington reveal extraordinary insight into the surreal combination of back breaking labor and camaraderie as the soldiers painfully push back the Taliban. Following the film soldiers who were on the ground fighting for our freedom will join us for a brief Q&A. $15 admission includes the screening along with tasty bites provided by Kayak Cafe, Vinnie Van Go-Go’s and Savannah Bee Co. Our very own Veteran-owned Service Brewing Co. will have Tour and Tastings available for purchase. Must be 21 or older to attend the event. Thank you to our presenting sponsors: DIRTT, The Private Bank of Wells Fargo, Georgia Power, Publix Charities.
