At The Sentient Bean, the Psychotronic Film Society’s ongoing series of obscure and/or underappreciated features from around the world continues with a rare showing of the campy 1968 “supervillain” flick “The Mask of Kriminal” aka “Il Marchio di Kriminal.” Based on a controversial Italian comic book from the 1960s, this forgotten blast of snarky, sexy Eurocrime grooviness is the sequel to the 1966 cult classic “Kriminal.” Both star the handsome Dutch leading man Glenn Saxson as the supremely intelligent and amoral thief known as “Kriminal,” who robs and kills anyone in his way (while finding time to bed exotically beautiful ladies, of course), and somehow manages to stay one step ahead of Scotland Yard. Oh yeah, and he does all this while wearing a skintight skeleton costume. A must for fans of mid-‘60s foreign spy and caper films like “Danger: Diabolik” and “Superargo vs. Diabolicus.” Don’t worry — if you’ve never heard of either of those gloriously silly obscurities, you’ll find much to love about “The Mask of Kriminal.” Showtime is 8 p.m., with $6 admission.
