The Human Being is a random guy with a van, a cat, and a computer who wrote an album of lo-fi funk folk blues poems about a buddhist concept called the Ten Worlds. He is documenting a two-month trip along the eastern United States to play his music and figure out what being human really means.
He’s out there on the road like this because somewhere along the line, he noticed the human beings weren’t being human. Something was turning them into aliens, animals, and cartoon characters. It was almost like they’d forgotten how difficult it was to even become human in the first place! So he got this idea that if he made some groovy tunes and got into the places where the people were, he could tell a story that might remind them just how special and how powerful the human being is.
He doesn’t have a Facebook. He just has a face, and you can see that face at the Foxy Loxy Cafe on Tuesday, October 9th at 7:00pm.
